+
-
Noda is an open banking payment platform, suitable for any type of business. Noda has low fees for your business, high bank coverage in the UK and EU, fast technical integration and soft compliance.
Being an alternative new way to receive and manage digital payments online, we are based on open banking technology, and our fintech solutions can cover the entire scope of online payments for your business. "NaudaPay Limited" is the official name of Noda’s legal entity in the United Kingdom. Official legal information is available here: https://uk.noda.live/
What service does Noda provide?
+
-
We provide a range of flexible payment solutions for a very broad range of industries. We’ve got you covered whether receiving payments online, sending payment links to customers or helping staff receive tips. Some of our most popular payment services are: Noda Button for Instant Payments (Web/App), Noda Payouts, and Noda Go.
Open banking technology is the secure new way for banking clients and merchants to manage their money better, enable direct payments, and cut out costly intermediaries. A collaborative banking framework helps everyone to take control of their banking activities and benefit from the latest financial service providers and innovative services. That means transactions and other financial activities can be shared easily via APIs (application programming interfaces). In short, it leads to better banking for all.
Noda Hub is an application developed specifically for you and your employees. It is a live command center allowing you to centralize your payment processing online.
Using Noda Hub, you can oversee direct banking payments, access all your transactions in one place, and get the financial knowledge and control you need. Noda Hub lets you manage all merchant functionalities:
- Access the entire onboarding process and view the status of each stage
- Download API keys
- Learn how to prepare the Noda button for your specific requirements
- View transaction details including statuses
- Make refunds fast and easy
- Control your list of websites/services
- Identify and manage payouts
- Add information to your account
- Get access to reports and analytics.
What are the Noda Terms and Privacy Policy?
+
-
We are highly committed to our client relations and your privacy. You can stay up to date with the latest versions of our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions on our website here: Terms & Conditions. Privacy Policy
What is PSD2? How does it apply to Noda and merchants?
+
-
PSD2 is an updated version of the PSD regulation, which was introduced in 2007 to create a single market for payments across the European Union (EU). The revised directive serves to improve the security for client authentication and brings in new regulations for third-party involvement in the payment process. Noda and its services are fully compliant with this regulation.
What does "licensed by FCA" mean? What is FCA?
+
-
FCA – a Financial Conduct Authority – regulates financial service firms and financial markets in the United Kingdom. Noda’s UK legal entity Naudapay Limited is licensed by the FCA: we were named as an "Authorized Payment Institution" from 29/10/2019 and it has given us permission to provide a broad range of payment services.

HOW TO GET STARTED
How can I open a merchant account and get access to the payment gateway?
+
-
Just register in the system (it takes 5 minutes) and get a specially assigned account manager who will tell you everything you need to know.
What is required to get my account approved and start receiving payments using Noda products?
+
-
It is very simple to get approved and start accepting payments. There are three simple steps you need to follow:
1. Compliance processing — register with Noda Hub, fill out the additional info, attach the necessary KYC documents, and receive API keys.
2. Review the terms and sign off an agreement with us.
3. Perform technical integration — explore our integration options and then deploy Noda Button with the selected option.
How long does it take to complete a Compliance review?
+
-
A Compliance review depends on your business type, submitted KYC documents and how fast you send any additional documents we might request. In order to complete onboarding faster, you can submit a zip file of all the KYC documents usually requested by other partners you may have. A Compliance review can take from 3 business days and longer.
What if I don't have some of the documents required by your Compliance team?
+
-
Please get in touch and explain why you don't have a specific document we have asked for. You can reach our Sales Manager and explain the reason directly. Please do not leave the requested document pending without comment, otherwise our Compliance Team will likely wait for the document and your review will be delayed.
When will my Account status be changed to Approved?
+
-
When the Agreement is signed and our Compliance review is fully completed.
How long will it take to get connected to Noda services?
+
-
We always aim to get you up and running with Noda as soon as possible. One of our greatest features is the transparent Compliance procedure and fast onboarding. The exact time it takes can depend on many factors. However, if all goes well it should be a matter of days rather than weeks.
What integration options does Noda have?
+
-
You can choose the best way to integrate Noda into your checkout flow. We support Server-to-Server integration (using Noda Payments API) and Front-end integration options (using React, Vanilla and JS scripts). You may refer to our documentation or contact our tech support team to get detailed answers on your questions.
Where can I find my live API keys?
+
-
Your live API keys are always available in Noda Hub. If you are unable to find them, please ask your personal manager to help you.
MORE HELPFUL INFORMATION
Can merchants track all transactions in real time?
+
-
Yes! Merchants are able to track all the information about transactions in real time.
Please see the ‘Transactions’ page in Noda Hub, where you can control all the transactions your clients make in real time.
How fast are transactions processed?
+
-
Noda cannot influence the time taken to perform banking transactions. How our service works is to send all the information about the required transactions and/or payments to the client’s bank. The response is then displayed in our service: whether the payment was successful or not. As soon as everything is processed on the bank's side, the specific bank (which your client chooses to make a payment) will be responsible for making the transaction as soon as it can. EU and UK banks which support open-banking protocol usually use SEPA (from 1-3 business days) and SEPA Instant (from 1s to 30s) techniques to transfer money from one account to another.
Currently our traffic is being performed:
- 95% - FPS (UK) and SEPA Instant (EU) - instant payments
- 5% - SEPA (EU) - average speed 3 hours
Can I monitor the current statistics and transaction history on my account?
+
-
Yes, Noda can do this. If you’d like to learn more about this feature and others on Noda Hub, you can contact our sales team.
How much will Noda services cost me?
+
-
There are some factors which influence the final fee size. They include: your business domain, size of your company, level of your brand awareness and, of course, your revenue (earnings). Usually our fees vary from 1% or sometimes even lower up to 2.5%, depending on the things mentioned above. You can contact our sales team to get a final quote. Please note, we DO NOT charge ANY setup fees and have absolutely no hidden commissions like some services do.
Which categories of merchant business are not supported by Noda?
+
-
We are open to working with a range of businesses and Noda can accommodate all kinds of companies. However, although we are willing and able to work with high-risk businesses, we obviously DO NOT work with legal entities that violate local or international laws and represent criminal enterprises.
If you are assessing whether you are eligible to connect and use Noda’s services, please register (it takes 5 minutes), and talk to your dedicated account manager. We will happily address any questions regarding the options you have.
Please remember our mission: to provide as many merchants with our service as possible. We will do our best to connect you.
How many banks offer open banking?
+
-
The number of banks that currently offer open banking is growing. At the moment, all banks in the EU and UK are required to make your data available through open banking. So providing your Clients with the option to ‘Pay via bank’ is a great choice.
It’s very simple and easy, fast and totally secure.
We invite you to Register and get assistance from your dedicated account manager!

Does Noda Hub allow me to export real-time reports and/or daily reports?
+
-
Yes, Noda Hub has these capabilities.
Are payments instant regardless of the merchant's bank? Or does the merchant need a SEPA Instant account to enable real-time payments from customers?
+
-
Payments are instant only in cases where both the payee and payer's banks are connected to SEPA Instant. Otherwise they are made according to the regular SEPA payments flow. As part of our service, we can provide our merchants and resellers with access to SEPA Instant collection: payments are initially aggregated on our safeguarded account and we carry out settlements to merchants periodically (daily/weekly etc), withholding our fees in the process.
Is there a higher chance of payment delay at the weekend even when the merchant has a SEPA Instant account?
+
-
Yes, this might happen for two reasons:
1. The payer’s bank does not support SEPA Instant. We also have a merchants preference to fully switch off non-instant payments. Currently non-instant is about 5% of our turnover but it is highly dependent on the end-customer’s geo location.
2. Additional bank checks – this happens quite rarely (in about 0.05-0.1% of cases, most often when a payer's name matches someone who is under sanction). However, it usually means the payment is frozen for additional review by the bank of the payer or payee.
How do you resolve disputes from customers regarding unresolved or unauthorized payments? Or are there no such issues with your transfers?
+
-
It is possible for us to be involved in the following dispute cases:
1. Where we provide merchants with our bank account for collection purposes – we can receive the "recall request" from the end-user’s bank – this means they went to a bank and asked to return their money.
2. If the money goes directly to a merchant, the end-user can still contact us via support regarding disputes. In both cases we are in contact with both the merchant and end-customer. This means we have a conversation in order to resolve the case in the best way for both parties. For the moment we do not have any dispute fees and tend to listen to a merchant most, particularly if it’s a friendly fraud case (as there is almost zero possibility to hack open banking payments).
